FAQ'S
Do you accept dogs?
Well behaved dogs are very welcome.
Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. If they usually sleep on the bed then please bring a spare cover for them. Any excessive cleaning or damage will be charged for and must be paid within 14 days of departure. You must clean up dog mess immediately and place it in the dog waste bin. Please do not leave your dog unattended while on the site, we do have a large garden which is fenced off all around but the Beehive has its own small garden, there are walks around the area.
Do you have a min night stay?
Yes, our min nights are 2 or more, 3 on Bank Holidays.
What is the bed configuration?
Our little Hive has a very comfy double bed that sleeps 2.
Is there somewhere to eat nearby?
Aberaeron is 20 minutes away and offers many varied eating establishments. See here
Can I walk to the nearest pub/village?
We are extremely rural and the nearest pub is Aberaeron, there is a shop 15 minutes drive garage/shop.
Do you allow extra tents, or camping?
No. In order to maintain the tranquil nature of our site we limit the number of guests to 2 at all times.
Do you allow fireworks, or Chinese lanterns?
No, as these are both potentially hazardous to livestock and surrounding properties. The use of fireworks and Chinese lanterns is prohibited at all times with no exceptions.
What do I need to bring with me?
Just yourselves and your normal holiday items.
Do I need to bring bedding/towels?
We provide all bedding and towels, even for the pets, but please bring any covers your pets like to sleep on.
What do you charge for firewood?
All the wood for the fire pit outside is FREE, please help yourself.
Can I park my car next to the Beehive?
No. All cars must be parked on the private parking area on arrival, the Beehive is approx a 80 meter walk along a well lit pathway and we do have a trolley for luggage.
Can I cook in the Beehive?
Yes, we have provided a fully equipped small kitchen area, to include a 2 ring hob, microwave, kettle and toaster along with a small cooker, there is also a gas BBQ for use outside free of charge. All utensils and cooking items are provided.
How far is Mt Snowdon?
About 85 miles away which should take 2hr 30 mins, though please be advised that this time will increase at peak times.
Do you accept hen/stag parties?
No, due to the quiet nature of our site we do not allow hen/stag parties.
Do you allow children?
The Beehive is not suitable for children and we have an age limit of 25+ adults, only please.
Is the Beehive suitable for disabled persons?
We are unable to cater for disabled visitors due to the position and steps that will need to be encountered on arrival.
